A proud Yorkshire man through and through, they say if you snapped Steve in two like Scarborough rock, he would have 'Thomas the Baker' running the length of him!
We like to think of Steve as the 'new boy' having joined us in 1982, a year after the business started. This followed a stint of making bespoke luxury bathroom suites, it seemed only natural progression to become a craft baker!
Steve doesn't have a great deal of spare time in between babysitting duties. With the little he does find he enjoys dog walking, gardening and has occasionally been known to dabble with his fishing rod. However, with his propensity to move house and home every couple of years, he has also become quite the DIY expert! Steve thoroughly enjoys family holidays and sites Canada as the 'go to' destination.
Steve believes in hard work and producing quality products and, as such, was promoted to become Production Director in the late 1990s. His philosophy is: "Treat people as you would expect to be treated yourself".
