Nicola decided to return to her northern roots and relocated to North Yorkshire from Oxfordshire in 2005.
After qualifying as a Chartered Accountant, Nicola chose to work within a business environment and has many (she won't reveal just how many!) years' experience working for both large multinational companies and smaller owner managed businesses.
She joined Thomas the Baker in October 2008 and her role as Financial Director is very hands on and varied, extending far beyond normal day to day financial matters for the company.
When they are not either at work or talking about work, Nicola and her husband, Gareth (who also happens to be Thomas' IT Manager) are keen walkers – you may have even seen them battling their way up the odd hill in the Lake District from time to time!
